Every year, we breed and adopt a range of chick varieties

Chicks are raised by hens for four weeks, during which they learn what’s safe to eat, how to avoid danger, and how to stay warm and regulate their activity

They are then weaned and kept in a safe enclosure for eight weeks before being introduced to the flock

Once they reach three months of age, they join the rest of the flock in the open pasture. There, they forage freely and settle into the natural rhythm of the flock

From dawn to dust, the chickens spend their days exploring and foraging..

..dust bathing, sunbathing, practicing short flights, resting, and socializing

Pullets may begin laying eggs as early as sixteen weeks of age

Fresh eggs are gathered twice a day and prepared for delivery
